We had a urgent need for combined order-, picking- and purchasing functionality
... and with the development of SELVEO, these dreams were fulfilled. We could start building logic around the core services; warehouse and procurement in SELVEO, which is important for a company that ships nearly 2 million packages a year.
Without SELVEO, we would have twice as many employees in the warehouse and procurement, and our warehouse speed would likely be 2-3 times lower than it is now. We can measure all steps and processes in real-time, providing us with super valuable knowledge and allowing us to constantly adapt to the markets we operate in. I would go so far as to say it is the most important E-commerce operating system we have, and I love that the API-first approach has been chosen, as it truly offers endless possibilities and does not lock us into specific processes but rather can be adapted to what is most optimal for us.
