Receiving and put-away are essential for effective stock management. Accurate receiving ensures goods are checked and sorted correctly, preventing errors and improving inventory accuracy. Efficient put-away speeds up future picking and packing, reduces warehouse clutter, and optimizes overall operations. Together, these processes support a well-organized, streamlined inventory that meets customer demand with minimal disruption.


When the ordered goods arrive at the warehouse, the operator retrieves the relevant PO (Purchase Order) on the scanner and can start receiving goods directly into the desired or recommended location. The operator can also choose to scan an item in the shipment, which will then recommend the POs containing this item. The quantity is checked and reconciled directly in the PO, and when the receipt is completed, any discrepancies are sent to the purchasing department, which can contact the supplier.
If you have a batch of goods that needs to be shipped quickly to customers, our cross-docking function can streamline the process. Instead of putting items away, you can temporarily store them in a designated area that's easily accessible for pickers, ensuring efficient handling and faster delivery to your customers.


In some places in your warehouse, you may store items that you cannot or do not want to pick from, as they are in an inconvenient height or placed to function as replenishment items or buffer stock. You will get recommendations on when to replenish the empty or almost empty location so that orders waiting for the item in question can be released for picking.
